I have used this in my professional shop since I started almost 4 years ago. I don't know how much older the blade is BUT I know it is at least 4 years old. I use it for aluminum, steel, stainless steel, structural steel and items as thick as 1" solid steel. The fact that this works so well for so long amazes me. It cuts straight, neat and consistent. For the price I will not complain. I cannot compare it because I have not used anything other than the composite blades which wear quickly and cause tons of sparks. Recently, I cut something while I was in a hurry and pushed too hard so I bent a tooth, I figure might as well replace it.
