Out of the box the bevel nut was loose to I twisted it down with light force and one wing broke off of the nut. That was a bad start but 25 cuts later in 4X4 tile I am happy enough.
The blade is already starting to dull. My tile are PEI 5 but I still expected a bit more from the blade. I don't have a dressing stone so I don't know if that would help.
The only chip out I got were my fault. I am cutting against a straight edge and a couple of times I let the tile move a bit. You have to go slow for sure. I miss the nice $400 saw that I borrowed for my last tile job but it was on loan to someone else. I haven't checked that the blade is parallel to the edge of the base but I would expect more chip out if it weren't
The water line doesn't leak and is attached to the power cord that swings out towards the motor. This keeps the tubing and cord out of the way. Nice touch.
The product title says 5" saw. The book in the saw box says that a 4 1/2" 20mm arbor wet blade is a suitable replacement. I haven't tried replacing the blade. I have to cut a few hundred feet of in place stucco siding down the road and I am hoping that a 5" blade will fit (if I can even find one with a 20mm arbor.)
